About Vi
I’m French-Vietnamese and have lived in Asia for 20 years—first in China and now in Jakarta. My career began in corporate consulting and diplomacy, before I chose to focus on family, social impact, and helping people strengthen relationships. My cross-cultural lens helps me understand the unique pressures expats face, the dynamics of mixed couples, and the experiences of Indonesians shaped by life abroad. I know how cultural expectations, distance from family, and differing worldviews can strain relationships—and how, with the right approach, they can also become opportunities for deeper connection.I am trained in The Gottman Method, Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Prepare/Enrich pre-marital assessment. This combination gives me a versatile toolkit to support individuals and couples, whether the focus is practical communication, intimacy skills, or deeper relational patterns. My approach is grounded in evidence-based strategies, cultural sensitivity, and the belief that meaningful, deep lasting change is always possible.

Frequently Asked Questions
What languages do you offer support in?I offer relationship support services in English and French only.Where do you practice?
I currently see clients online and in person in Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.Who do you work with?
I work with couples and individuals at all stages of their relationships. You don’t need to be married or in crisis—many come simply to strengthen their connection, grow together, or improve their relational skills. I also work with couples preparing for marriage, helping them explore compatibility, expectations, and acquire the tools to build a lasting, fulfilling relationship.I welcome everyone in a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space—regardless of sexual orientation, relationship structure, culture, or background. Everyone deserves support in navigating their relationships, and you will be met with kindness, confidentiality, and care.Is relational coaching worth the time and money?
It’s natural to wonder if the investment is worth it. I invite you to also consider the cost of not doing this work: the financial and emotional toll of divorce, the strain of separated custody on children, or the quiet weight of living in relationships that feel unfulfilling. Relational coaching is not just about avoiding pain — it’s about building skills and creating a foundation for more connection, resilience, and joy in your life.I want to work on my relationship, but my partner isn’t interested. How can I convince them?
It’s common for one partner to be hesitant and it can feel frustrating. You don’t need to wait for your partner to start making changes. You can begin with an individual session, where we can clarify your goals, explore your needs, and discuss gentle ways to invite your partner into the process if appropriate.
Do both partners need to attend when a couple is seeking counsel?
When working with a couple, both partners are encouraged to attend sessions together, as most of the work happens in the shared space. In some cases, I may also recommend individual sessions to address specific goals alongside the couple’s work. And is this the same as therapy?
While our sessions may feel similar to talk therapy, I do not diagnose or provide clinical treatment. As a coach trained in the Gottman Method and Relational Life Therapy (RLT), my role is to actively guide you, teach you practical skills, and provide actionable tools you can use right away to strengthen your relationship outside of our sessions. If at any point I believe therapy with a psychologist or therapist would be more appropriate, I will let you know and help connect you with the right professional support.I’ve never done anything like this before — what if I don’t know where to start?
That’s completely okay. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear goal. We’ll start wherever you are, and go at a pace that feels safe for you.
